Dharwad peda is an Indian sweet delicacy unique to the state of Karnataka, India. It derives its name from the city of Dharwad in Karnataka. This sweet has a vast history that dates back 175 years. 

Dharwad peda is a must try as it is a delicious variety of peda which like any other peda recipe is prepared with milk, sugar, milk solids but caramelising to yield brown coloured peda recipe and then is finally coated with sugar crystals giving it the perfect texture and taste.
